Selva Capuzza SAN BIAGIO Groppello Riviera del Garda Classico DOC 2023

$23.61

The Groppello is considered the most important red grape variety around Lake Garda.

The cluster of this native grape is tightly packed, with small berries and thin skins. It is a delicate grape with low acidity, requiring gentle vinification and careful attention to preserve its characteristic freshness and aromas. Selva Capuzza’s interpretation of this native grape from the Brescia side of the lake highlights precisely those qualities. The result is a light wine that is very simple yet rich in sensations that brings you closer to the fruit.

San Biagio is the first red wine to be released from the cellar after harvest. Its vinification is not intended to achieve complexity or aging potential. It shows a bright red color, not too intense or deep, but luminous and vibrant. The tannins are soft, making it an excellent red for the summer.

It is perfect for pairing with appetizers, snacks, cold cuts or cheeses, as well as fish dishes such as baccalà, pike, and salmon.

Serve after a few minutes on ice for enhanced crispness.
